DIVE REPORT (click on pic to see better quality image): Diving was pretty damn good today. The water is still chilly at 66 to 68 degrees; but, as I have said, I can tolerate the cold water as long as the water is blue — and, it was mostly blue today. Furthermore, there was not a cloud in the sky!!!!

First dive was at The Corridor. The water was nice with 60 to 80, maybe 100, feet of vis. The Goliaths were there. I probably saw 10 to 15; but, a credible diver (the owner of Pura Vida who actually got off his ass and into the water — a rare event) claimed to have ventured off the dive path and encountered 30 Goliaths in one spot.

This is favorite spot for the Goliaths. Perhaps seeing so many outside of mating season is a sign they will congregate here in the hundreds as mating season approaches at the end of the summer, just like last year.

Only ran into two turtles; I think the cold water scared them away. Apparently, the water temp. was in the 70’s all week, but dropped Saturday morning. Sudden drops tend to scare away the turtles.Dove Breaker’s Reef and Turtle Mound the second dive. The vis was not as good, it was not really blue water. But, the Nurse Sharks were out again. The reefs were filled with fish.

Again, a nice day to dive.
